Mine is the same year or just about maybe slightly newer but I use unleaded and have no problems

here goes i know nothing about cars(non driver) my mrs just passed her test got ford ka 1999,might sound a daft question,can she use leaded or unleaded petrol?is the car made for a certain type? |

Hi Jeff, do not use leaded fuel (although I'm not sure you will even be able to get any). USE UNLEADED ONLY, or you will poison the Catalytic convertor. |
