 Post subject: SMAX rear doors hold water - should they?

The rear doors on my 2006 S-Max are holding water when it rains. When you open them there is an accompanying flood of water (slightly exaggerated obviously). Is this normal? Has anyone else experienced this on either an SMAX or a Galaxy?
