Hi! I have recently bought ford fiesta 2003 1.4 tdci. It is e very good car but the only problem is electrics. First of all the saloon light would not go off and p{Bad Word: Moderated}engers electric window doesn't work. Also problems with central locking, Anyone has same problems? Maybe any ideas how to fix?

Quite often the central locking is affected because it gets wet, the window seals fail and water, be it rain or washing, gets into the c/l mechanisms and plays havoc. Although they are 'sealed' units, (on most cars, i actually dont know with yours), you can get into them and just clean it all up, seal the plastic case back up and all is well.

You will need to remove the door cards at least to get to the c/l mechanisms...if you are unable to open/repair them, a scrappy can be a godsend unless you wanna spend a fortune with a dealer.

....dont forget to address the cause...it is no good fixing/getting the new part if your gonna have the same prob in 2 months time......
