As this is my first post i would just like to say hello to the forum.

My problem is as follows;
I HAVE JUST FITTED A NEW/reconditioned 2.0 DURATECH ENGINE IN MY MONDEO EVERYTHING IS BOLTED BACK IN AND PLUGGED IN BUT IT IS NOT TURNING OVER STARTER MOTOR SEEMS TO BE OK CHECKED IF THERE IS A FAULT WITH THE IMMOBILSER WITH THE TEST YOU DO WITH THE ODEMETER NO ERRORS REPORTED CENTRAL LOCKING AND ALARM ARE WORKING FINE ANY IDEAS WHAT COULD BE STOPPING IT TURNING OVER.

it appears that this could be a immobilser problem immobilser light is flashing when ignition is switched engine will not turnover ive read that i might have to get another key cloned?something to do with the programing id rather not have to fork out for another key any ideas people?
