Hi all. This is my first Ford and my first time on the forum pages.

I bought this car a few days ago having read some good reviews. It's the 2.5 V6 Duratech Engine. 64,000 miles 1999.

I have since realised that the 'engine warning light' does not illuminate in the dash board. A common practice i'm sure, to remove the bulb when there is a problem.

I rang the car dealership i bought the car from, and of course, they pleaded ignorance and said they hadn't noticed, that they would look at it for me, but if it was anything more than just a new bulb they would have to charge me for it.

The engine seems ok, it runs fine, starts first time everytime and seems to perform well so i'd {Bad Word: Moderated}ume it's just a sensor issue but, to be fair, what i don't know about cars could fill a warehouse!

Basically, i'm just after any help, any opinions anyone might have on the matter.

Thanks in advance.
