 Post subject: Focus 55 plate 1.6 tdci engine tapping noise

Hi, does anyone have an idea what this tapping noise is on my engine, the noise is constant with the engine speed, most noticable between 1500-2000 rpm. The tapping only happens when the engine is warm, it's quiet for a short while after starting the engine. The car has done 50k. :? :?
