Hi,

My focus has just had a full service at an independent garage, after driving only 120 miles the engine has packed in, ( loss of power on motorway followed by very unwelcome rattling noise from engine). After having the car towed home I inspected the engine oil, very black and like diesel, not oily at all. I suspect that the garage having added the oil flush forgot to drain and refill with new oil? Leaving me with catastrophic engine failure.
Does this sound likely? I'll be taking the car back tomorrow morning and hopefully have the problem resolved.

Any thoughts greatly appreciated.
