you need to drop the exhaust and remove the heat shield and there is a 16mm adjusting nut up behind the shield, also check thet the cables are not siezed as the do give a lot of bother, this can be easily done by looking at the rear calipars to see if the leavers are stuck on if they are replace the cables and free up the leavers

Press the button on the end in, and pump the brake about a dozen times, if this doesn't do anything then a manual adjust as in the other post will have to do.

One more tip would be to check that when you release the handbrake, if it just drops, cables might be seized.
found that one out the hard way with having to fit the handbrake cables.

sound like the mondeo curse of a sticking caliper
if it s is that you will just need to jack up the rear of car chock the front wheels have someone in the car applieing the handbreak on and off while you spray the lever that goes into the caliper with wd40 you may find a pair of mole grips help move the lever back and forth and this should free up the caliper took me around ten mins to do the job after it was free i greesed up the lever and all has been fine since hope this helps dougie
