hi there first of all the car is common rail so it wont start with the injector pipes open as it wont build enough pressure in the rail for the sensor to open the injectors, the pipes have to be closed all the time so tighten up all the pipes and fill the new filter with dieses and wind it over it will take a while to get the air through but it should go ok, u might need to use jump leads because after winding it over if it starts to slow when cranking it will not start it needs full power to buil enough FRP, (fuel rail pressure). hope this helps

Hi, The next time you change the filter either fill it up before hand or as the holes are a bit small just submerge it upright in a jug of diesel till all the bubbles stop then just lift it out dry it off and drop it in, there is no farting about cranking, bleeding ect, just done mine this way and it 100% works and the car will start straight away first turn and run without even a bit of hesitation. Good luck ;)
