Please can anyone tell me how to fix this as it makes a loud clicking sound and know of any shops selling cheaper parts as been quoted £250 for the inlet manifold

how do u know its the tappets? have u got the manifold removed and checked? the manifolds do give a lot of bother but ive never had problems with tappets on them. and you cant just change the flaps in the manifold as they are not the problem the problem is the rod connecting the flaps wears away the manifold then they vibrate about (giving a tappet noise).
