hi every now and then my petrol 2.0 duratech just looses power if i turn of and back on ignition it usualy clears anyone have any ideas thanks dave

from what i have read its your injectors probably

£250 each or around £140 to recon

thats the reason my 04 is going the journey

if you want the injectors cleaning and testing there is a company that i used called swadlincote diesel that will to the job for £20 per injector (petrol) if you take them out and send it to them. there number is 01283 222316 ask for matt.

try cleaning the in tank petrol pump filter this happened on mine as a result of dirt in the tank, and when this happens you turn the ignition off then on it forces fuel through until it blocks up again
