Hi, My 02 mondeo 1.8 petrol has developed a fault where the 7.5 amp fuse in the internal fuse box that controls electric mirrors and clock keeps blowing but it also has some control over the instuments as i also loose speedo, rev counter, fuel and temp gauges, i have tried a higher amp fuse but it still blows, it could last 5 minutes or 2 days before blowing

you clearly have a short somewhere, would recommend getting a auto sparky to take a look, it's not good practice putting higher amp fuses in as this could cause a fire.
