:?: I have just bought a Mondeo mk 3 2.0 tdci Zetec,my first Ford since I got rid of my 2.8 Capri(shame) and I have already noticed that the back end is a bit more stable!!!
A couple of things I would appreciate advice on.
1.Does the engine bay usually have a cover in it or can you see all the "gubbins" as soon as you open the bonnet ?
2.The handbook says(as they all do) to remove the aerial before using a carwash, does the aerial actually unscrew as the one on my car seems very tight and I am loathe to try and force it.
Any advice appreciated.

I think any backend is more stable than a ford capri..... (even my grandmothers...)!!

Can't comment on the mondeo but my 06 Focus looks like it should have an engine bay cover and after speaking with the dealer and checking several other cars in work non have the cover... but all have the fixings where one should be....??

Put my car through one of those nasty car washes once.... still have the scratches to prove it.... Once again talking about the focus.... but i'm 99.9 % that all this type of antennas will unscrew...

If there is no wrench flats on it get some pliers and a rag and carefully try to unscrew it from the base... may be more than hand tight...

Let us know how you get on...
