 Post subject: changing rear brakes on a 51 mondeo

my dad is changing the brakes on a 51 mondeo, it has an automatic handbrake adjuster, so, how do you un attach this, to put the callipers back on?

Never done a mondeo but most rear discs need a special tool to wind the caliper back in.
