Anyone got any suggestion why my ka keeps revving or making a revving noise when i brake when coming to stop at the traffic lights and slightly when i change gear?? Its not doing it everytime i brake tho.

I am taking it the garage tomorrow but just wondered if anyone could tell me what it sounds like please!

Thank you
:)

my focus did that when i had a racing inlet fitted due to the throttle cable being too short. take your air feed pipe off the throttle and move the part where the cable is connected to open and close the throttle a few times. ul feel if it is sticky or see if it does not close fully. also try listening for any air leaks around the throttle gasket and intake manifold. and double check all hoses to and from both are connected properly :)
