Hi. I'm planning on buying a Focus in the next couple of weeks. I know there's been a lot of talk about DPFs being BAD things but just wondering if there's a way to actually check for a DPF on the car, either by looking under it or from the Ford ETIS/somewhere else.

From what I've been reading the 1.8 doesn't have one and some people have said the 90HP 1.6 doesn't. If I found a 2007 90HP/PS 1.6 is it likely to have one?

Sorry to be asking questions again but have searched and looked through various forums with no definitive answer.
