 Post subject: ford focus 1600 zetec . fault

i have a ford focus zetec 1600. its developed a prob, the engine management light comes on , the speedo goes to zero , even the lcd panel on the speedo goes off .the miles dont register. and wen i accelerate the engine judders a bit. then it will right itself for a few miles then appear again. thanx
