hi there
i'm not the best when it comes to cars and i have a wee fiesta... I'm about to take it in to the garage to check that the headlights are still in the corrrect allignment, I swear that they've dipped too low.
Before I go in to and ask this really rather silly question I thought that i'd just check that this is possible?!? Yes dumb question I know but I dont want to get laughed out of the garage.

Thanks
plipz

Does your car have a headlight adjustment option fitted? (the wheel marked 1-3 I think it is next to the light switch).

1 is the highest position.

For a rough guide drive to a wall or any flat vertical surface. Mark a point on the wall that corresponds with the centre of the headlights. Reverse the car in a straight line back about 6' or so. The bright spot of the beam should be just below and to the left of the marks on the wall. This is only a very rough guide. A garage will do the job properly (even your mot station would do it if you ask them nicely). Either way, no one should laugh, more applaud you for being conscientious.
