 Post subject: Fiesta 55 plate clutch pedal problems

Hi all,

I am having a look at my sisters 55 plate 1.4 fiesta at the weekend, something has pinged on the clutch pedal twice now, repaired by the AA with a cable tie, apparently a common problem.
Just wondered wether anyone has had a similar problem, and if there is a more permanent fix.
Would really appreciate any info before I start routing around.
