I have a 4500RDS E.O.N unit in the front facia, of a Fiests Zetec (2005)
Does anyone know what I can replace it with?
Ie are there brands and models that will go into that space without the need for cutting shapes or special adapters?

Btw is there a cure for a blocked CD tray (2 CDs !) that doesn't (or does) involve taking the whole unit out of the surrounding facia?

I recently went to my local car audio shop with my ford fiesta zetec 04 reg, and i was told the following,

It wont be easy, even if the shop does it, the parts will cost around £40 but i have found them cheaper on the internet for £20 but then i am not sure if it is defniatley the right part, to replace the radio, the whole face is needed to be taken out and the heating units at the bottom need to be dropped down which again is really not easy, then the little bits between the cd player the radio and the other bit need to be cut out and it will look tacky.

hope this helps !!
