What does anybody else get mpg from their 1.4 tdci fiesta?
Just got a 54 plate and wondered if the stated figures are correct.

On a motorway run (Edinburgh to York) I got just over 60mpg. Reading to Edinburgh cruising at 70 with bursts to 80 got 55mpg.

Commuting (6 miles) gets usually 55mpg. Driving very gently however blunts performance ( have found this with most diesels) so a short daily blast (up to 3000rpm is enough) keeps the performance sweet and still returns 53mppg. Hope this helps.
